Jay-Z has chosen himself to headline the Super Bowl halftime show on February 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium. The rapper, who serves as a key decision-maker for the event through his company Roc Nation, will take the stage for a 14-minute performance. While the performer is confirmed, the NFL has not yet announced which teams will compete in the game, a decision expected at the end of January.

The central question now concerns who, if anyone, will join Jay-Z on stage. Past halftime shows frequently feature guest artists, and industry speculation points to four specific names. These candidates share deep professional histories or personal ties with the rapper, making them the most probable additions to the lineup.

Beyonce ranks as the leading candidate due to her marriage to Jay-Z since 2018 and their shared parentage of three children. The couple has collaborated on numerous tracks, including the 2003 hit "Crazy in Love" and the duet "Drunk in Love." They are accustomed to sharing stages, having toured together extensively. Beyonce also has prior NFL experience, performing at the 2016 halftime show alongside Coldplay and Bruno Mars. She last appeared at a major NFL event on Christmas Day 2024, when she headlined halftime in Houston.

Rihanna represents another strong possibility. Jay-Z helped launch her career in 2005 when he served as CEO of Def Jam Records. She later moved to Roc Nation in 2010. The two have recorded several songs together, such as "Umbrella" and "Run This Town." Earlier this year, Rihanna made a surprise appearance at Jay-Z’s tour at Yankee Stadium. She previously headlined the Super Bowl halftime show in 2023, where she announced her pregnancy to the audience.

Blu Ivy Carter, the couple’s oldest child, is also a contender. She performed as a dancer during her mother’s 2024 halftime show in Houston and joined the "Cowboy Carter" tour in a similar capacity. Her presence at NFL games with her father is common, and a potential appearance would frame the halftime show as a family event. Her growing fanbase has become a notable fixture at recent concerts.

Eminem rounds out the list of likely guests. The two artists collaborated on the track "Renegade" for Jay-Z’s album "The Blueprint." Eminem recently joined Jay-Z on stage during his current tour, suggesting a renewed professional rapport. He has experience performing at the Super Bowl, appearing as a special guest in the 2022 halftime show. The final decision on the guest lineup has not been announced.

Roc Nation has produced the NFL halftime show since 2019, giving the organization direct control over the creative direction. With the performance date now set for next February, the production team will finalize the guest list in the coming months.
