Four Chambers Schedule November Openings

The Charlotte Area Chamber of Commerce and three regional chambers have announced a slate of events for early November. The schedule includes ribbon-cutting ceremonies for new businesses and membership networking sessions across the metro area.

The Charlotte Area Chamber opens its November calendar on Nov. 3. Members will celebrate the grand opening of D.R. Horton's Kingman Townhomes at 5100 S. Tryon St. in Charlotte. The ceremony runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., with the ribbon cut at 11:45 a.m. Advance registration is required. On Nov. 5, the chamber hosts the grand opening of Color Me Mine at 7651 Pineville-Matthews Road in Charlotte. That event takes place from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., with the ribbon cut at 10:30 a.m. Members will also attend Connect After 5 at Adler Montford Park on Nov. 5 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The park is located at 1351 E. Woodlawn Road. Admission is free for members and $25 for non-members.

The Matthews Area Chamber of Commerce holds two events on Nov. 6. Jessica Tullar, president and CEO of the chamber, facilitates Coffee with the Commissioners at First Horizon in Charlotte. The session runs from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at 2432 McKee Road. Later that day, members celebrate the grand opening of Cutie Patootie Kids Spa and The Atelier in Matthews. The event is scheduled from 11 a.m. to noon at 116 W. John St., Suites A and B. The ribbon will be cut at 11:30 a.m.

The Mint Hill Chamber of Commerce hosts a ribbon-cutting ceremony for PNC Bank on Nov. 4. The event runs from noon to 2 p.m. at 6849 Matthews-Mint Hill Road in Mint Hill. On Nov. 6, the chamber holds a Coffee Connections networking session at Total Space in Indian Trail. The event is located at 1512 N.C. 218 and runs from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.

The Union County Chamber of Commerce schedules three events in early November. A Get Plugged In session will be held on Nov. 3 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the chamber office in Monroe. The session covers chamber benefits and is free to attend, though registration is required. On Nov. 4, members celebrate new ownership at Core Studio Pilates in Indian Trail. That event runs from 4 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at 2405 Bonterra Blvd. On Nov. 5, the chamber hosts the grand opening of Ivy Rehab Physical Therapy in Waxhaw. The ceremony is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at 3404 S. Providence Road, Suite 310.
