Kodak Black appeared to collapse onstage during a Halloween concert in Tampa on October 31. Video circulating online shows the rapper going down in front of the audience at Benchmark International Arena. People nearby moved toward him as he made abrupt movements on the floor. He eventually returned to his feet.
The incident occurred during the Nightmare on Channelside event. The lineup also included Meek Mill and DaBaby. Kodak’s set lasted approximately 15 minutes. AllHipHop.com reported that he performed five songs: “Versatile,” “Skrilla,” “ZEZE,” “Roll in Peace,” and “Skrt.”
Ball Alert noted that Kodak was seen laughing and dancing after he got back up. Audience members cheered during this time. However, HypeFresh reported that some viewers questioned whether the moment was genuine. VICE reported that longer footage suggested the set was interrupted before the incident, though that account remains unconfirmed.
As of November 3, neither Kodak’s representatives nor the venue has issued a public explanation. There is no confirmation of a medical emergency or that the moment was staged. Kodak has previously discussed his struggles with substance use. In June 2024, he addressed past Percocet use during a Los Angeles performance. He expressed regret about a line in “Super Gremlin” and warned fans against treating his lyrics as encouragement to use drugs.
Those earlier remarks do not establish a direct connection to the Tampa incident. Fans are currently waiting for a clearer explanation of what happened during the show.
