Matt Olson and Mauricio Dubón won Gold Glove Awards for their defensive play during the 2026 season. The National League recognized the first baseman and the utility player on Sunday night.

The Braves last had two players win the honor in the same year in 2022, when pitcher Max Fried and shortstop Dansby Swanson received the awards. Since 2018, the franchise has claimed 12 Gold Gloves across seven of the last nine seasons.

Olson, 32, is the only active first baseman with four such awards. He joins Christian Walker and Paul Goldschmidt in that company. He defeated San Diego Padres first baseman Ty France and Colorado Rockies first baseman T.J. Rumfield in the voting.

Olson played every game of the 162-match season, leading all Major League first basemen in innings played. He also led the position with 12 Outs Above Average and 12 in overall fielding run value. He finished second to France with 11 Defensive Runs Saved.

Dubón, also 32, won his third Gold Glove. He is the first Atlanta player to win the utility award since Rawlings created the category in 2022. He has won the honor three times in five years, including two with the Houston Astros in the American League. No other player has won multiple utility Gold Gloves in Major League history.

Dubón started 75 games in left field, 51 at shortstop, 14 in center field, five at third base and four at second base. The voting for the awards combines 75% from team managers and coaches with 25% from the SABR Defensive Index. A separate calculation determines the utility winner.

Left-hander Chris Sale and center fielder Michael Harris II were finalists for the Braves but did not win. Nolan McLean of the New York Mets took the pitching award, and Pete Crow-Armstrong of the Chicago Cubs won the center field honor.
