Lionsgate U.K. placed “Ghosts: The Possession of Button House” at the top of the U.K. and Ireland box office for the weekend ending Oct. 25. The horror-comedy earned £2.4 million, which equals $3.2 million, during its three-day debut.

Warner Bros. released “Clayface,” a DC horror thriller, which opened in second position. That film collected $2.6 million in its first run. Amazon MGM Studios’ comedy “Ali G: Who Iz I?” took the third spot with $1.7 million in opening revenue.

Travis Knight’s animated fantasy “Wildwood” held the fourth position. Black Bear’s release brought in $1.36 million. Paramount’s “Street Fighter” moved to fifth place in its second weekend. The film added $1.35 million to its total, bringing its cumulative gross to $5.6 million.

Universal’s animated feature “Forgotten Island” placed sixth in its second session. It collected $1.2 million, lifting its running total to $3.7 million. Sony’s “Verity” followed in seventh place during its fourth week. The psychological thriller added $857,067 to its gross, which now stands at $14.4 million.

Universal’s “Other Mommy” sat at eighth place in its third weekend. The supernatural horror film earned $576,822, bringing its total to $6.2 million. Mubi’s “Fatherland” debuted at number nine. The drama generated $264,083 from 86 locations over the three-day frame.

The film achieved a screen average of $3,144, ranking fourth among new releases. Including preview screenings, its total opening reached $415,017. That figure surpasses the opening for “Cold War,” marking director Paweł Pawlikowski’s largest launch in the territory.

Studiocanal’s “Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom” completed the top ten in its sixth frame. The animated holdover collected $408,089, raising its cumulative total to $6.1 million. Mubi’s documentary “Making Marie Antoinette” opened across six sites. It took $1,737 over the weekend for a total of $24,355.

The limited release begins a staggered rollout. Park Circus will re-release Sofia Coppola’s 2006 feature “Marie Antoinette” on Nov. 13. Mid-week event programming starts Tuesday with Trafalgar Releasing’s broadcast of the Royal Ballet’s “Manon.”

Wednesday brings the music documentary “Ozzy & Black Sabbath: Back to the Beginning” to more than 100 locations. Wide commercial rollouts arrive Friday across more than 300 locations. Disney’s “Everest: The Other Side” leads the group, alongside A24’s “Primetime” and Black Bear’s “Wicker.”

Other Friday releases include Universal’s “I Love Boosters” and Action Xtreme’s “Bad Day at the Office.” The weekend concludes Saturday with Trafalgar Releasing’s live viewing of “BTS World Tour ‘Arirang’ in Sao Paulo.”
